Katie Couric Cops A Feel On Beyonce’s Baby Bump
Beyonce’s highly anticipated interview with Katie Couric was mostly uneventful–except during the tense moment that Couric surprised Beyonce by clutching her baby bump. For a brief second, Beyonce looked horrified. Which only drove more speculation that Queen Bey is carrying a Christmas ham instead of a baby in her stomach.
Of course, most people think this was an innocent touch from one woman to another. But don’t get it twisted; Katie Couric is a seasoned professional journalist whose undoubtedly heard all those fake baby rumors. Was this a gotcha moment?

Jimmy Fallon’s Band Thinks Republican Candidate Is “A Lyin’ Ass B*tch”
When Republican presidential candidate Michelle Bachmann stepped onto the set of Jimmy Fallon’s talk show the other night, she was greeted with a song by 80s alternative rock band Fishbone. The title of the track? “She’s A Lyin’ Ass Bitch”.
Fallon’s house band, The Roots, probably thought nobody would notice the song and Bachmann didn’t. She apparently didn’t find out she’d been dissed until FOX News made a big deal out of it. That’s when Bachmann seized an opportunity to blame what she perceived to be a liberal conspiracy aimed against her and started complaining. At that point, Bachmann demanded–and received–an apology from NBC, the network that airs Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Tyler Perry Is No Fool; He Knows Kim K Controversy Is Mo’ Money In The Bank
Heartbroken fans who’ve waited in lines; sat in cramped theatres with loud hood rats; and dished out $10 a pop every time Tyler Perry releases a new flick are beside themselves with grief over the fact that soon-to-be divorced Kim reality TV star Kim Kardashian will co-star as panned in Perry’s latest movie, The Marriage Counselor.
Indignant fans of the highly successful producer obviously take his films very seriously, even though most critics and social observers have labeled them minstrel shows that substitute anything resembling a plot with over-sermonizing, preachy dialogue couched in 1980s slang. Many of Perry’s stans expressed their outrage on his website, however, and are vowing to boycott Marriage Counselor just because of Kim K.

Kim Kardashian’s Mama: Kim Didn’t Make A Dollar Off Wedding
Kris Jenner, AKA Mama Kardashian, went on the Bay Area’s Star 101.3 to tackle rumors that her daughter staged an elaborate wedding for the purposes of fundraising.
As you know, Kim filed for divorce Monday after 72 days of marriage to athlete Kris Humphries.
Kris Jenner tried her best, bless her heart, to convince the DJs and the national public that her daughter is nowhere near the narcissistic, self-absorbed and greedy diva that the press has labeled her, especially in the last few days. She’d never marry to raise funds or for publicity, says Mama K. She says Kim wanted to be married forever.
According to Kim’s Mama, Kim blew millions of her own dollars on the opulent nuptials, and she claims Kim didn’t even get a dime out of the mix. Whatever, lady. Hell, even one of the disc jockeys had to call her out on that bullshit.
Its sad when somebody’s so self-absorbed that they make their own Mama go on national media and tell a big ass lie. That’s kinda trifling.

‘N-Word’ Controversy Reaches ‘The View’
I don’t watch ‘The View’. I think its cool that the ladies on the show are able to get paid all that money to sit there and delve into a whole bunch of bullshit, but I just don’t get the point of this program. Its a talk show with way too much damned talking going on, if you ask me.
That said, the latest Rick Perry scandal was dissected by the ladies of ‘The View’ yesterday. All five of the women who co-host the show agreed that something fishy was going on with the name of that hunting facility leased by Perry’s family.
But things got sticky when co-host Sherri took issue with Barbara Walters saying the word “nigger”.
Sherri seemed to get quite pissed at Barbara for that and she made that point clear. But I didn’t get why Sherri got all irritated like that unless she thinks Barbara Walters is some sort of racist or something? But how can that be when Barbara used to bump uglies with that Black Senator dude back in the day before the uglies they were bumping were ugly, right?
Meanwhile, Sherri missed the bus on this one. Barbara was just repeating a story and she was clear that she was uncomfortable using the N-word, so why all the drama from big girl Sherri?

Pat Buchanan: Black Folks On “Liberal Plantation”
Pat Buchanan. Lawd have mercy. Bless this man’s old-ass soul. He probably doesn’t intend to be so mean and ignorant but he can’t seem to help it. Whenever he leaves the house, he finds himself stirring controversy by sharing his Colonial-era ideas.
This time, Buchanan says he agrees with Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain–the only Black person running for the GOP nomination–when Cain famously said this past Wednesday that Black folks have been “brainwashed” by the Democratic Party.
But Buchanan went even further than Cain and added that Blacks adapted Democratic ideals on “the liberal plantation”. Lord have mercy. This man is a hotter mess than a crack pipe sitting on a stove.
Every now and then Buchanan says something that makes sense but unfortunately, this isn’t one of those times.

Soulja Boy Is Apolgizing For Something Again
Soulja Boy stays in the middle of some shit, don’t he? This time, “Mr. Crank Dat” is apologizing for egregious commentary on America’s troops, who are already getting no love thanks to budget cuts and a war that’s getting more dangerous in Afghanistan.
Soulja made news last week when he dropped this video, with lyrics that include “fuck the FBI” and “fuck the troops”. Most people thought the FBI part was cool but the troop portion ruffled feathers.
The song is called “Let’s Be Real”. I didn’t bother to post the video since everything Soulja has put out lately has been fairly lousy. I hate to say it. But its true.
Not surprisingly, this didn’t sit well with military members everywhere, who aren’t entertained by this kind of talk. After the video quickly went viral, many service members and their outraged family members and supporters began speaking out against the song–and the rapper behind it. And now comes word that a few folks want Soulja and his sounds banned from U.S. military bases across the world. They also want to stop the sale of anything Soulja Boy-related and want America’s nearly 3 million strong active and reserve armed forces members and their supporters to co-sign the move.
That’s not good news for Soulja, whose last album tanked. Is Soulja acting out because he fears he’s losing relevancy? If so, why take it out on the people who are sacrificing their lives to make his better? What did they do to Soulja to piss him off so bad?
Here’s Soulja’s apology:
“As an artist, I let my words get the best of me. Sometimes there are things that we feel, things that we want to express, and when we put them on paper and speak them out loud, they can come out wrong,” he wrote in a statement. “When I expressed my frustration with the US Army, not only did my words come out wrong, I was wrong to even speak them. So, I write this to give my sincerest apology to all members of the United States military services, as well as their families that were offended by my most recent lyrics.”

A Lot Of People Really Don’t Like Chaz Bono Being On DWTS
In case you haven’t been paying attention–or didn’t care–Chaz Bono, son (and former daughter) of singing legend Cher, is now on the apparently well-liked TV show “Dancing With The Stars”. And that’s led to much controversy.
Some people are saying kids might be somehow mentally scarred by watching the show with the transgendered Chaz on it, with some naysayers even going as far as calling Chaz “The Bearded Lady”. Chaz underwent sexual reassignment surgery between 2008-2009. Intriguingly, though, Chaz opted not to alter anything below the waistline, which means he only had a boob removal job and a beard implant–and that’s something that is further confusing a lot of folks.
Meanwhile, Chaz Bono has drawn support from many DWTS fans, including his famous mother, whose made it clear she’s sticking with her son. On Twitter, she posted this:
