Macy’s Employee Fired Over Transgender Incident
Natalie Johnson will be standing in the unemployment line thanks to an incident involving a transgendered individual and a women’s dressing room at a Macy’s store in San Antonio, Texas. Johnson confronted a teenage man who she says was obviously dressed in drag and told him that he could not try on women’s clothes in the female dressing area.
The problem for Johnson who looks like Sandra Rose is that Macy’s allows transgender people to try on clothes in the dressing room of the gender they identify with.
Interestingly, Johnson said she purposely profiled trained her eyes on the man when she saw him looking through women’s clothes, and suggested since he was dressed like a chick, he probably was a shoplifter or something. Then she made a bee-line to stop him from changing into any more girlie things before he got too comfortable.

Lady Refuses To Make A Wedding Cake For Lesbian Couple
If you’re gay and want a wedding cake, pass this chick by.
This baking lady apparently thinks she could go to hell if she makes a cake for gay folks. This woman went all holy warrior on these broads and told them she was too godly to make a gay wedding cake for them. Confirmed: The cake lady is an idiot. There’s a recession coming. She could have made that cake, collected her bread, and doused herself with holy water and repented later on if she was that disturbed about it. I mean, this chick is selling cakes out of her living room. Surely she can’t be ballin’ with that shit?
Faith is cool. I LOVES me some Jesus. But its not like the two gay broads asked her to join a three way with them or something. Of course, I wasn’t there so I can’t be sure of that but I’m assuming they didn’t.
In any case, how did CNN get involved?

Man Says Stroke Turned Him Gay??
A British Rugby player who broke his neck and suffered a stroke after he tried a dangerous back flip now claims the medical incident turned him gay. Now, what do you say about that?
Previously, Chris Birch says he was a 266 pound, straight athlete but after the stoke, he lost more than a hundred pounds and became a hairstylist who digs the dudes. He now shares a crib upstairs from his salon with his boyfriend.
“It sounds strange, but when I came around, I immediately felt different,” Birch recalled. “I wasn’t interested in women anymore. I was definitely gay.”
“Suddenly, I hated everything about my old life. I didn’t get on with my friends. I hated sport and found my job boring,” he said.
Of course, this is very hard to believe. Nobody wakes up and just decides to be gay or straight–and then actually starts doing it. But changes in a person’s behavior after stroke have long been documented by medical professionals. I’ve had a couple of people very close to me endure strokes and I definitely noted changes, but I’m no doctor.
But none of them changed sexualities. Is this guy trying to get a reality show or something?

The Game Addresses Gay Rappers Issue,Thinks DL Dudes Are Spreading AIDS
Rapper Game has decided to offer his two cents on the gay rapper debate. He also waded into the waters of the debate over closeted bisexual men–or rather, the so-called “down low brothers”.
Speaking to Atlanta’s Hot 107.9, ironically during the busy Black Gay Pride weekend, which is annually hosted in Atlanta, Game must have been moved to discuss the issue because he probably had never heard of so many Black gay and lesbian people gathered in one place before? Then again, doesn’t he live in Hollywood? Whatever his inspiration, in typical headline-seeking style, Game dove head first into a topic that oozes controversy:
“I think there are several rappers that are in the closet and gay, and see those are the type of gay people that … the only type of gay people that I have a problem with,” said Game. “I don’t have a problem with gay people. Like, Beyoncé should’ve said, ‘Who run the world? Gays,’ because they’re everywhere and rightfully so. Do you. It’s a free country. Be gay, you can do that. Game don’t have a problem with gay people.”
I didn’t think anybody was still questioning whether or not there are closeted gay rappers out there. Its kind of a no-brainer isn’t it? Gays are everywhere. But I guess only in Hip Hop and the NBA & NFL do people try to pretend gays don’t exist.
Game didn’t bother to name any rappers he thought might be gay, by the way. But he does go a little bit further by saying…
“Game has a problem with people that are pretending not to be gay and are gay because the number one issue with that is that you could be fooling somebody and you could give them AIDS and they can die and so that in the closet s—t is real scary. So, we’ve got to get into the real seriousness of it and it’s just not fair to other people,” he said. “If you gay, just say you gay. Be gay and be proud.”
Hmmm. Sounds like he thinks bisexual men are AIDS carriers. Game makes a minor point–that people should be aware of who they have sex with and that’s true, regardless of your sexuality. And he’s also right that not being upfront about your sexuality is a very dishonest and crude way to maintain a relationship. But those are the only points he makes and here’s why…

NFL Legend Michael Irvin Appears Shirtless On Gay Magazine ‘OUT’; Discusses Hidden Gay Brother
Former Dallas Cowboys star receiver Michael Irvin has made history and provoked controversy both on and off the football field and he continues that legacy by appearing shirtless on the latest cover of gay fashion and lifestyle magazine ‘OUT’, which is billed as the most widely circulated gay magazine in the world.
In a very revealing interview, Irvin admits something he says he guarded closely: That he had a brother who was was gay. Its a fact Irvin says he was, for a long time, ashamed of.
At 12 years old, he saw his brother dressed in drag and was shocked. But his father put him in check:
“My dad looked back at me and said, ‘Yes, that’s your brother. And you love your brother.’ ”–OUT
Irvin also says he might have been afraid of people perceiving him as gay by virtue of them thinking his brother’s being gay and also a cross dresser might be genetic. So Irvin says that caused him to possibly become a womanizer:
“Growing up, whoever had the most women and the nicest car, he was the man,” he says. “So when you get in the locker room, you remember that. I’m gonna get all the girls so that everybody says, ‘Michael’s the man.’ ”
That’s a puzzling connection but Irvin goes on to say that he and his brother enjoyed a close relationship until his brother died of stomach cancer at age 49 in 2007. But Irvin says he kept his brother’s sexual orientation a secret, mostly out of shame. That’s something he says he regrets now. He also says he looks forward to seeing an openly gay athlete in major sports–whom he would support:

Tracy Morgan Just Might Be In Trouble
Tracy Morgan is a comedian but the joke might be on him, if his latest anti-gay controversy continues to heat up. Days after Tracy’s Nashville comedic routine was exposed as a homophobic rant, compete with Tracy saying he’d kill his own son if he was gay, the controversy hasn’t gone anywhere. Here’s his apology:
“I want to apologize to my fans and the gay & lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville. I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others. While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context.”
But those words haven’t been enough to silence Morgan’s growing chorus of critics who point out that Morgan frequently makes jokes about gays with increasing and sometimes bitterly negative frequency. This amid the backdrop of a national epidemic of gay teen suicides, which Morgan apparently thinks is kinda irrelevant:
“Gays need to quit being p**sies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying.”–Excerpted From Morgan’s Nashville Act
“I don’t “f*cking care if I piss off some gays, because if they can take a f*cking d**k up their ass … they can take a f*cking joke.”
In the last few days, Tracy Morgan has emerged as one of the top 5 searches in search engines around the world. If it weren’t for the fact that one gets the feeling this isn’t necessarily good news for Morgan, that would be a publicity gold mine. But in this case, it might be Morgan’s comedic Waterloo, since its being reported there is a movement taking place to have him sacked from the hit TV show “30 Rock”. And reportedly, its gaining steam.

In Their Own Words…
At this point, I’ve embraced a lot of worldly cultural and I made it a part of who I am. People who are here who have not done that may look at my choices artistically, how I express myself visually and ecstatically as questionable, especially to my sexuality. Whereas, people who have traveled or who have done the same, it’s not questionable at all [to them].
I think it’s really a question as to whether or not you’re ignorant to what else is out there or not. I don’t say that in anyway to offend anyone, I’m just saying if you don’t understand you got to catch up. We’re flying. For anyone that questions my sexuality, the honest truth is I love women. I’ve always only loved women. That’s it. And women kind of like me too, so it kind of works.

CNN’s Don Lemon Comes Out As Gay Man
Last week, reports were swirling on the Web that a media personality was preparing to exit the closet door. Don Lemon was one of the names tossed around as was Anderson Cooper’s name but now we know for sure who’s who.
CNN anchor Don Lemon has confirmed what had been a long-running rumor about the African American news reporter: He’s a gay man. He also has a new memoir, “Transparent” and in it, the accomplished journalist shares his story, including the decisions that lead him to this point in life and his outlook on being a high-profile, gay Black man–and what that means to the Black community, which often struggles with homophobia.
Before we go any further, let me say that I’m sure some people will claim to be shocked about Don Lemon coming out as gay, but this is no surprise to me. I thought Lemon was gay the first time I saw him on CNN so this is no Earth-shaking revelation. But now that one of the nation’s most visible African American personalities has come out, I’m wondering will this inspire other high profile individuals–rappers, actors, athletes and others–to do the same since everybody knows there are lots of stars hiding in the closet.
“It’s quite different for an African American male,” said Lemon. “It’s about the worst thing you can be in black culture. You’re taught you have to be a man. You have to be masculine. In the black community, they think you can pray the gay away.”–New York Times Interview
Good point. Maybe he didn’t want to go further and say that many in the church have a habit of demonizing gays–while turning a blind eye toward everything else that is considered “immoral”–such as adultery, fornication and Black-on-Black crime?
Lemon offers that African Americans probably have a negative attitude toward homosexuality because of historic discrimination that Blacks have suffered. That’s an interesting notion. Now we have one more thing to blame on slavery and Jim Crow.
What do you think about Don Lemon coming out?
