When Divorce Makes More Sense: Man Kills Wife With AK-47
The husband is claiming he accidentally shot his wife early in the morning while showing her his shiny AK, but cops have charged the man in his wife’s death.
Family members of the couple are said to be in shocked disbelief and a family friend told Nancy Grace she doesn’t believe the husband would kill his wife intentionally because he “loved her so much”.
But police have also said there may be a history of alleged domestic violence in the marriage. Reportedly, the couple’s small child was bathing in the tub when the shooting occurred.

You probably already knew that Craigslist would sooner or later become a lure for serial killers. Which means you don’t just risk losing your hard-earned cash to a potential Craigslist scammer–you could also end up losing your life.
The bodies of three men have thus far been discovered in a bizarre murder spree that authorities believe to be tied to a bogus Craigslist ad that offered cattle work to job seekers. And authorities say there could be other victims as well.

Hazing Suspected In 26 Year Old FAMU Drum Major’s Death
A 26 year old FAMU student from the Atlanta area died under conditions that police have said are related to “hazing”, a common though controversial college practice.
Robert Champion, who graduated from Southwest DeKalb High School, was a drum major with the Florida A&M Marching 100. FAMU was in Orlando to play their annual football game against Bethune Cookman College in the Citrus Bowl (which many just refer to as “The Classic”). At some point, Champion was found on a band bus in a hotel parking lot, vomiting and saying he couldn’t breathe.
Shortly thereafter, he was pronounced dead.
Hazing has led to deaths at colleges across the country and university officials have moved to try to limit or halt the practice.
Criminal charges could be forthcoming. As the police investigation now focuses on the circumstances surrounding Champion’s death, it should be noted that, in Florida, any death that occurs in connection with hazing is a third-degree felony.

Man Proposes With Rings Stolen From Elderly Woman He’s Accused Of Beating To Death
36 year old Raymond Harris is charged with the brutal beating death of a 73 year old Chicago nurse, Virginia Perillo. The elderly woman was found dead in her garage.
DNA evidence led to Harris. But cops and the victim’s family were shocked to find that Harris had just proposed to his girlfriend, who’d reportedly held him down through his various prison stints, and popped the question using the dead woman’s rings!
Absurdly, the chick said yes. She probably knew the ring was hot, figured Raymond was up to his old tricks again, but didn’t give a shit because she’s a ride or die kinda gal.
Meanwhile, witnesses say they knew something was up when Harris came around sporting new clothes since he apparently mostly walked around looking like a bum.
This ain’t Harris’ first time at the rodeo either. At the time of Perillo’s murder, Harris was already on parole after serving 13 years of a 30 year sentence for raping and almost killing a woman before he torched her house.
This time, though, it looks like he might be done for good.

Jeffrey Dahmer Survivor Turns Around And Becomes A Killer Himself
52 year old Tracy Edwards was lauded as a hero after he escaped, handcuffed, the grips of prolific serial killer and alleged cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer back in 1991. And now Edwards is facing a murder charge himself, after cops in Milwaukee say he threw a man off a bridge in July.
It was Edwards who brought cops to the home of Jeffrey Dahmer, who admitted to killing 17 young men. Dahmer was beaten to death inside of prison in 1995.
Relatives of Edwards say he collapsed after the publicity and stress of his near-fatal encounter with the renowned killer. Edwards’ folks say he turned to drugs and booze to cope and has spent the years subsequent to his ordeal in a state of hopeless addiction.
Edwards faces up to 60 years in prison if he’s convicted on a charge of reckless homicide.

Cops Say They Have Cell Phone Footage Showing Vybz Kartel And His Crew Committing Murder
I thought only American rappers were this damned stupid. Jamaican Reggae sensation Vybz Kartel is knee deep in the shit, thanks to what cops on the island are saying is cell phone footage that they now possess which shows Kartel and a few of his boys killing someone.
Police have announced they will deploy that and other evidence in Kartel’s upcoming trial.
Right now, Kartel is in police custody, charged with two murders. And unlike in the States, where celebrities are given preferential treatment by the justice system, a judge in Jamaica isn’t moved by Kartel’s immense fame on the island and has thus far denied all bail requests for the Reggae superstar. So for now, Kartel is screwed.
Vybz Kartel has recorded with a number of American stars, including Lil Wayne, Eminem, Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, and Rihanna. A huge star in Jamaica, many Americans only heard of him once news of his bizarre cosmetic regimen gained multinational headlines: Rather derogatorily, Kartel has been labeled the ‘Michael Jackson of Jamaica’ due to his extreme skin regimen, which includes regular use of skin bleaching products.
Kartel’s lawyer is pushing for bail for his client. Meanwhile, Jamaica doesn’t have a death penalty so that’s at least one small bit of good news for Vybz.

One More Murder Charge For Dancehall Artist Vybz Kartel
Apparently he’s got those tear drop tattoos for a reason. Jamaican Dancehall artist Vybz Kartel has been hit with another murder charge, according to media sources. This is his second murder case in a month; he’s already sitting in jail on murder, conspiracy to commit murder and illegal firearms charges.
He is scheduled to return to court on October 26 on those charges, which are in connection with the July 12 murder of Barrington ‘Bossie’ Burton, a 27-year-old businessman/promoter of a Gregory Park address in St Catherine. Burton was reportedly killed while standing with friends along Walker’s Avenue in Gregory Park.
Kartel, who was arrested on September 30 at a hotel in New Kingston by police from the Flying Squad, is also charged for 4.3 ounces of ganja found at the premises. However, he pleaded not guilty to possession of ganja and is expected to return to court on November 10 on those charges.–(Jahkno)
Prior to his arrest on the fateful charges, Vybz was getting press for his recently introduced line of skin bleaching products, called “Vybz Skin Brightener”. After Vybz became noticeably lighter by using the products, he came under heavy criticism for what some people termed self-hate. But Vybz went on the offense and said he’d stop using skin bleach when Black women stopped getting weaves and perms.
Vybz is best known for his affiliation with another dancehall icon, Bounty Killer. Vybz has also worked with a number of other stars more familiar to Americans, including Rihanna, Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Eminem.

Book Publishers Don’t Want Anything To Do With Casey Anthony
Acquitted baby killer Casey Anthony might have to find another way to earn a big windfall because it looks like the major publishing houses are taking a pass on a book deal for the alleged murderous mama.
This is a turn of events. Evidently, Casey had someone affiliated with NBC working behind the scenes to secure a potentially lucrative book arrangement for her, in order to snag an exclusive interview for the network. Casey was who was found not guilty of murdering her daughter, Caylee, by an Orlando jury earlier in the year.
Originally, it was expected that media powerhouses would be lining up to get the goods from Anthony. And that originally seemed to be the case. But big-time publishers are said to have since become spooked by the enormous public outrage her acquittal has inspired. And now they’re afraid of having their names connected to ANY project with a widely suspected baby killer’s name attached to it.
Karma?
The NBC producer trying to score a book deal for Casey Anthony may be S.O.L. … because the biggest names in the publishing biz tell TMZ … they want absolutely NOTHING to do with tot mom.
We broke the story … an NBC news producer has contacted literary agents and told them Casey has agreed to do a TV interview with the network if he can lock up a book deal.
