Lil Wayne And His Rumored Wife Pass Out Food In New Orleans

Lil Wayne and his rumored new wife Dhea helped make Thanksgiving a little bit easier for a number of New Orleans families this week by handing out turkeys and other food items during Cash Money’s 17th annual ‘Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway’. Of course, the real news wasn’t the turkeys–it was Wayne’s supposed nuptials.

According to MTO, Lil Wayne married his girlfriend of about a year, a beautiful Italian-American young woman named Dhea. Which means Lil Wayne is likely the latest high-profile Black male celeb to ditch the sistas and instead opt for the swirl. After that annoying Toya, who could blame him?

Rumors have been swirling that Dhea–a woman Wayne had long claimed was “just his stylist”– has had quite an impact on Wayne, and that she’s influenced rap’s top gun to immerse himself into some New Age-like philosophies, including Yoga and naturalistic foods.

Lil Wayne And Young Money Discover Card Hits Market

Do you trust Lil Wayne and the Young Money crew with your money? If so, then you can now acquire the Young Money Discover Card, which is a prepaid debit card rap’s top gun and his record label are offering.

Lil Wayne is now the latest celebrity to offer a prepaid debit card and this news comes sometime after Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons and his “Rush Card” drew heavy criticism and scrutiny. Some folks even labeled the Rush card a fraud.

Lil Wayne’s card will hopefully steer a more customer-friendly path.

For more info on Wayne’s new card, here’s a link to the website. And here’s a video –”All In One Swipe”–below.

Lil Wayne Admits He Hasn’t Passed Out Turkeys In New Orleans In “8 Or 9 Years”

Lil Wayne and Baby got their Mother Teresa on last Friday, and passed out turkeys in New Orleans to needy residents there. Its something Wayne said he hadn’t done in nearly a decade. He blamed it on touring and a busy schedule.

“It’s actually been my first time back here for the past eight or nine years, and they’ve been doing this for 15 years. I haven’t been back here to do this for so long just being super busy, just always on tour.”

“Those times I did it years ago, I was just a kid and I was just doing it because Baby and Slim, we were giving away turkeys at a park and that’s what we were doin’. Now it’s a totally different feeling, because I can actually give you that and say, ‘Here, happy Thanksgiving.’ I can do that, and I can provide that for you. That’s a different feeling in general, and it’s a beautiful feeling overall.”–(MTV)

How touching. But I’m thinking that anybody who is so damn broke that they can’t afford to buy a turkey would have preferred it if Wayne and Baby had just given them the cash instead. That way, they could have bought their own damned turkey or whatever. Now that’s what I call giving back. After all, haven’t Wayne and Baby both been known to drop hundreds of thousands of dollars in one night at the strip club alone?

But real talk at least Wayne and Baby care. Most rappers don’t give a shit about their fans unless they’re buying their music.

Lil Wayne Heckled Over His Leopard Leggings

Not everybody is feeling Lil Wayne’s 75 year old blind Jewish lady on Long Island look. One fan heckled Lil Wayne to “take off Lil Kim’s pants” during Wayne’s recent MTV Sucker Free Awards.

In all fairness, everybody on stage with Wayne seemed to be wearing skinny jeans. Wayne just happened to be the only person wearing the version with leopard spots.

Oh, and the heckler also said “fuck Nicki Minaj”. He’s late on that one. Wayne already did that. How else did she get that fat Young Money contract?

This heckler was probably planted by Jay-Z or somebody else who is hating on mostly everybody’s favorite rapper. Its not clear Wayne heard the heckling but he probably did but probably doesn’t give a shit either way. He’s the #1 rapper in the game, and he’ll wear his leggings and glow-in-the-dark fanny pack wherever he chooses.

And the heckler paid to see Lil Wayne perform, so who’s really the one that’s laughing?

Lil Wayne Goes Green For Halloween

Lil Wayne is one of the most sought after Halloween costumes people are looking for but Weezy himself decided to kick off the holiday by putting on a ski mask of a green skeleton zombie thing.

Weezy posted this pic on his Twitter page recently.

He didn’t go red–or blue–this time around. I guess Weezy is playing it safe with a neutral color, since he turned heads the other day after a vintage video turned up of the superstar rapper and self-professed Blood draped out in all-blue.

Look At Lil Wayne…And He’s Dressed In BLUE??

This footage was apparently taken in 2002, perhaps before Lil Wayne claimed Blood affiliation? Whenever it was taken, its turning head these days. There are certain gang protocols and Wayne’s violating a clear one: He’s wearing opposing colors.

Of course, its very likely Wayne pledged his heart and soul to RED sometime later because its hard to imagine him feeling secure enough to troll the streets of New Orleans while claiming one color and wearing another, superstar rapper or not.

Lil Wayne Covers Vibe; Talks Drake, Jay-Z

Rap superstar and budding mogul Lil Wayne once again graces the cover of VIBE Magazine.

Its always interesting to hear what Wayne has to say about the world around him. On competition in the Rap Game:

“There’s no competition [with any artists]. Music isn’t about competition no more. All the gangster rappers are happy, all the skateboard rappers are happy, all the white rappers are happy… Everybody just happy to do music these days. There are no problems. That shit died a long time ago with them old-ass rappers. We are just making music, making money and having fun feeding our families. Competition is for the old guys.”

Oh, yeah? well what about that Jay-Z thing that seems to be brewing?

Well, I’m a man. I believe as a man you should know that. Every man should know the repercussions and consequences behind whatever they do before they do it. And of course, I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did.

On competing with fellow Young Money artist Drake:

I don’t look at it like that. Drake is my artist. If he wasn’t my artist, then yeah maybe. But that’s my artist. He’s not [just] a friend. We’re more than friends. It’s business. It would be impossible for it to be a competition. I mean, I’m the guy’s boss.
