Master P Releases A Mixtape

Its been a decade in the making but former No Limit boss Master P is back with new music: TMZ-Too Many Zeros is his new mixtape and on it, P takes more than a few jabs at detractors who say he’s now broke.

But P says he’s far from that, regardless of reports that he’s behind in child support and only a few years removed from No Limit’s infamous bankruptcy and subsequent collapse.

Gucci Mane and son Romeo are the two biggest names on P’s mixtape. Conspicuously, there’s no contribution from brother Silkk The Shocker, though not a very good rapper, was always accommodated on previous P recordings.

Lupe Fiasco Releases New Mixtape With “JESUS” Covert Art

New mixtape from Lupe Fiasco. The Chicago rapper–who delights in controversy–decided to grace his new tape with a black background with the name JESUS in bold, white lettering.

By the way, the title of the mixtape is “Friend Of The People (I Fight Evil)”.

Lupe just might need The Lord to help him reach platinum status; his last album, Lasers, dropped to much fanfare in early 2011, but quickly fell off the charts and failed to reach gold status.

His next album, Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album, doesn’t have a release date yet.

This new mixtape features Lupe on tracks with a couple of rappers named Dosage and Lil Ronnie. Check it out.

Ludacris’ Mixtape Soars While Beef Brews

Ludacris dropped his much anticipated mixtape last week. 1.21 Gigawatts: Back To The First Time has expectedly top notch production and big-name features, including Gucci Mane; Waka Flocka; Rick Ross; and Big K.R.I.T.

Fans quickly logged on to various mixtape-sharing sites to get their downloads, which are said to be racking up fast.

Meanwhile, one of Luda’s tracks, “Say It to My Face”, features a supposed diss aimed at a mystery person. This is aside from his diss track aimed at Big Sean and Drake (“Bada Bing”). And, by the way, this isn’t Luda’s first foray into the land of beef; a few years ago, Luda was embroiled in a dispute with fellow Atlanta rapper T.I., which ended amicably.

Regardless of whomever “Face” was aimed at, at least one rapper decided to respond. Field Mob’s Shawn J., a one-time Luda associate, emerged from obscurity to relay some scathing comments about Luda:

“I seen my ringtones on sale on BET and wanted to know where my check at,” Shawn J. said. “Ludacris is a bitch, he’s pussy and I’m going in on him from here on out.”

And there’s more. Peep Shawn J.’s interview below.
