Ludacris And Drake’s Boutique Beef Won’t Go On For Much Longer
Atlanta rapper Ludacris and Young Money’s Drake and relative newcomer Big Sean is making headlines for what is being promoted as beef.
At the core of the strain is the usual: Stuff that was said and not said on a track. Plus, Luda has suggested that he feels Drake and Big Sean have carbon-copied their way to the big time.
And Luda probably does feel that after more than a decade in the game, he’s owed some respect. And that’s true.
And Drake seems to regard Luda as a hating old man whose time has passed.
But all involved seem to enjoy the generous publicity this semi-drama is generating but let’s not get it twisted: None of the people involved will let this get anywhere near being out of hand. We’re talking about Ludacris, Drake and Big Sean. None of these guys are gang bangers or assassins.
This could all be a marketing strategy but even if it isn’t, I say all three rappers will be sipping Luda’s slightly syrupy Conjure Cognac at a club soon and will release a track together in less than a month.
Now on the other hand, Field Mob’s Shawn J. seems genuinely pissed at Luda. But Luda doesn’t seem to be the least bit shook over that.
Beef Alert: Waka Flocka Responds To His Alleged Ghost Writer

A rapper named Kebo Gotti says he held Brick Squad’s Waka Flocka down and even wrote Waka’s “Grove Street” song. There’s clearly some beef brewing on the stove down in Clayton County and Kebo has said all sorts of things about Waka and his Brick squad.
The war of wills maybe started on Twitter but has now spread to the neighborhood, it seems.
But the real head turner is Waka Flocka allegedly using this man as a ghost writer. Say what?
Kebo denied he was the man who was throttled by a Waka-affiliated mob at that bowling alley on Metropolitan Parkway during Waka’s recent celebrity bowling tournament slash charity event that ended up temporarily turning into a star-studded free-for-all.
But Waka responded the other day and denies everything Kebo said, including the ghost writing part.
Ummm, I’m just hoping these dudes sit down and work this out because this doesn’t have the feel of fake beef among non-gangstas. You know, like most Rap beefs? Yep, I’d say these dudes right here are the real deal.
In other intriguing news about these fellas, there’s a video in circulation that reportedly shows Kebo taking on Slim Duncan, a dude whose known to have some decent hands. Purportedly, the rumble takes place in the middle of the daytime on a busy downtown Atlanta street right near the courthouse. How appropriate.

Fabolous Video Footage Shows Bruised Face??
Just when you thought this Fabolous/Ray-J fight mess was over (and boring), a new and intriguing video has surfaced that seems to add a peculiar twist to the saga.
While performing at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada soon after the much-hyped encounter, Fabolous was recorded with what appears to be a huge knot on the side of his head. Normally, people don’t just wake up in the morning with huge battle wounds on their face so it makes one question Fabolous’ version of things. Ray-J claimed he’d injured Fab’s face; Fab, on the other hand, denied that and said there was no fight and that it was merely a scuffle that was “no big thing”.
“There was not fight, there was no swing…that nigga was on that Whitney last night.”–(Fabolous Power 105.1 Interview)
Now, Ray-J probably was on that Whitney (he’s been the subject of baby powder rumors in the past) but Fab’s face is clearly damaged.
I’m sorry, but a swollen head looks like a big thing to me. Case closed.

Ray-J/Fabolous Fight Footage
There isn’t a lot to see here, since somebody obviously doesn’t know how to hold their cell phone in place when something dramatic is going down. But you can hear lots of grade school-like name-calling.Whoever got the worst of things is still a mystery. But 50 Cent is being accused of being the instigator.
In Their Own Words…Fabolous
“This is not no big thing to me. It is what it is at this point…This shit is more a war on drugs than it is war between Ray J and me. This nigga is high and coked up or on pills. His rant, I heard it [and] it’s hilarious to me. It’s a joke to me. I’m taking this serious on the side of where he thinks that I’m the nigga that he should do that to, but I’m laughing at his whole character. There’s nobody that believes that Ray J’s gangsta to that point unless he’s gonna prove it. At this point now, he’s going to have to prove all that funny shit that he said…on The Breakfast Club.”
“What really happened is…Floyd [Mayweather, Jr.] had a ’24/7′ show for the fight, and I guess Ray J was on the show and on the show, Floyd goes, ‘I’m about to have a concert in my living room,’” he explained. “The camera cuts to Ray J singing on the piano…and it was just funny to me. I made a couple jokes about it on Twitter, and I guess people had fun with it on Twitter…I came to Vegas for the fight [and] Diddy had a dinner…so Ray J comes to the dinner…and when Ray J came in, he was like, ‘Yo Fab, you got me on Twitter,’ we laughed about it, joked about it…what he said was, the way they edited it, the ’24/7′ show…there was people there, everybody was in the living room. It still was funny, we still were joking…and what we were telling him was don’t be doing any concerts in a nigga’s living room…that’s not where we wanna see his career go. We all laughed about that, he was cool.”

Ray-J And Fabolous Fight–Did Somebody Get Knocked Out??
Twitter world is abuzz about an alleged fight that took place between rappers Ray-J and Fabolous. Its being reported that Ray-J slugged Fabolous but was then quickly overwhelmed and viciously beaten down by Fab.
At some point, Ray-J was arrested. Lord, some folks just can’t go nowhere without knocking somebody out or bringing the guns out.
Ray-J called in to ‘Power 105.1′ to address quickly spreading rumors that he got knocked the fuck out. Here’s the interview. Its a rambling, profane as hell interview so be forewarned. Never heard Ray-J, of Kim Kardashian sex tape fame, sound so pissed off.
He also challenged the Power 105.1 team to get a pic of Fabolous’ allegedly battered face.
Just FYI, people who win fights often end up with swollen faces. Unless its Mayweather, Jr. of course–that little man is a beast.

In Their Own Words…Young Jeezy
When asked about his beef with Rick Ross, Jeezy said things are at a standstill. “We can agree to disagree,” he said, “But if it’s a problem, I ain’t hard to find. I said what I said, I ain’t see no harm in that.”
He also took the opportunity to throw some heat at the oversized MC for being a former correctional officer, saying, “In my heart, I’m 100% real. You can’t pull out nothing in my past that can say I’m not 100% real. If you speak on it and that’s what you doing, just speaking on it, it’s entertainment. I’m not gonna argue with a grown man about me. That might put me in a box.”
“Can you coexist in the same place?” Martinez asked, to which YJ replied, “we’ll just have to see, honestly.”–(Young Jeezy Talking To NYC’s radio station Hot 97, Quoted From XXLMag.com)

Young Buck Owes 50 Cent $10 Million??
Just in case you weren’t sure 50 Cent was serious as cancer about his money…
The Wall Street Journal:
Some days you can find rapper 50 Cent in the club, but next week you’ll find him—well, his lawyers, at least—in the court.
That’s because 50 is fighting the debt-payment plan that his former protégée and later dueling partner, rapper Young Buck, submitted to the bankruptcy court ahead of a July 19 hearing. The objection, filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Nashville Monday, is the latest war of words between the rappers who famously duked it out in their song lyrics after a falling out.
50 says he wants to know just how Young Buck—who titled his debut solo studio album “Straight Outta Cashville”—is going to successfully manage his business affairs so that he can raise the revenue needed to pay off his creditors over the next five years, as his plan proposes.
At a recent questioning over Young Buck’s financial affairs, 50 Cent’s lawyers said the rapper “had trouble identifying where he had been on tour, who had booked his travel, how he had even gotten from one place to another.” This troubles creditors like 50 Cent, his lawyers wrote in court papers, because it raises the concern “as to whether any creditor can truly rely upon these claims and projections by the debtor.”
Another concern is the fate of a contract with 50 Cent and his G-Unit record label, which signed Young Buck in 2004 and under which the latter is still obligated to record.
“If the debtor defaults under the recording agreement, and/or rejects the recording agreement, G-Unit would maintain a claim for damages flowing to it as a result of the debtor’s failure to perform under the recording agreement in an amount believed to be not less than $10,000,000,” 50 Cent’s lawyers said.–WallStreetJournal
To catch you up to speed, Young Buck ran afoul of 50 a few years back. Back then, Buck was saying he wasn’t getting his fair share of the loot under 50′s G-Unit imprint and that evidently didn’t sit well with 50 so Buck was unceremoniously dismissed from G-Unit–but only after 50 released a secretly recorded, highly embarrassing tape that features Buck crying and begging.
Once you cut through the Legalese, it sounds like 50 thinks Buck’s career is DOA–and yet, he still wants his bread from Buck, just in case it ain’t. Remember when Buck was a hot commodity in Hip Hop? What a difference a few years make.
Just last year, agents raided Buck’s Nashville-area home and seized truckloads of shit to satisfy extensive tax liens.
Lawd, even if Buck manages to find another hit somewhere–and I’m sorry, but from the quality of the stuff he’s been putting out lately, that’s beginning to look like a big ass IF–how the hell is he supposed to come up with $10 mil, if all else fails?
50 Cent obviously wanted to K-O Buck’s career but its way beyond that now. Basically, 50 Cent appears to be treating Buck like this nigga is Kunta Kinte or something.
Question: Is 50 Cent going too far in trying to completely destroy Buck’s Rap career–or did Buck fuck himself over and is paying the price-literally-for disloyalty? You decide.
