Is Rihanna In Decline? Newest Album Projected To Move Just 200K Units In 1st Week
It looks like Rihanna’s latest album will not burn up the sales charts: Hits Daily Double has projected first week sales to be a fairly unremarkable 200,000 units at best. At worst, 180,000 units.
This may prove to be Rihanna’s musical moment of truth. She’s sold millions of records with very limited singing skills so have fans finally figured out that she’s a sweet, cute girl who may be the most overrated artist of the 21st century?
The Barbados superstar’s label was quick to point out that Rihanna’s last album, 2010′s LOUD, sold 207,000 copies in its first week and eventually went platinum.
Various Rihanna-obsessed blogs also sought to remind the public that their girl has been in Europe a lot lately and hasn’t promoted the newest album very much at all. But the last time I counted, Rihanna has done a ton of recent interviews and even bared her jugs on an Irish farm yard to bring attention to Talk That Talk. I call that promotion.
Rihanna might just have to start taking all of her clothes off to keep the public’s attention.

Rihanna Claims She’s Not Getting Any Sex
Internationally celebrated Burlesque singer Rihanna went on Ellen and talked about her dating woes and thrilled the live studio audience with a little racy dialogue.
The global phenom says she isn’t dating anybody and that she doesn’t get any booty calls, thanks to her hectic performing schedule. She also explains what she expects from her man.
“I like them to be sure of themselves and know that you’re the man. I’m the lady and the only way for us to make this work is for us to play our roles. You know, I can’t really be the man for you. I don’t want to have to be. I’m the man at work all the time.”
Was she referring to Chris Brown?
Then, motioning toward her genitalia, Rihanna said not being able to indulge in a regular dick-down routine isn’t good “for her”. The audience went crazy at that moment. And host Ellen looked a little bit aroused by the sexual innuendo, and almost acted as if she would whip out a toy or something in response to Rihanna’s sex talk.

Guess What? Rihanna Is Overrated
Rihanna’s latest album, Talk That Talk, took a leak the other day and people across the globe were Net surfing to get a hear or a download. It was like a digital version of meat being tossed to famine-stricken natives.
I get the concept of the hype surrounding Rihanna–but lawd knows I don’t get the hype itself. I tried. I tried hard. But Rihanna as a worldwide phenomena defies my sense of logic.
This part will hurt some feelings: Severely high pitched hog calling; mediocre dance skills; average beauty. That sums it up for Rihanna. And yet, she sells millions. You can’t hate on that. But Rihanna should say a ton of “Hail Marys” every time she thinks of the day that somebody discovered Pro-Tools.

The new album is better than most of her previous releases so interpret that comment any way you like. Straight up, Rihanna is today’s MaDonna. And that’s cool because MaDonna made millions and she couldn’t sing worth a damn either. In the future, Rihanna will be thanking the Almighty for gay people once everybody else forgets about her. Just like MaDonna.
I’m not hating–I’m just not getting it. Do you?
Rihanna Album Art Work +Tracklist
Rihanna’s new album is headed for stores on November 21st and now she’s released the art work and tracklist for Talk That Talk.
Simple works best for Rihanna. She takes great pictures.
The Barbados native is said to be looking to silence many of her critics with the new work. Rihanna has long been accused of not having much of a singing voice. In fact, some have compared Rihanna’s vocals to the sound of a cat being strangled. So maybe she’s gonna hit some high notes to shut her haters up on this one?

Rihanna Spends Thousands Of Dollars On Sex Toys
Rihanna has become a sex kitten of late. And evidently, its not just marketing hype: The sexy singer is reported to regularly spend tons of dough on sex toys, including whips; leashes; vibrators; handcuffs; scented candles; and sexy lingerie.
Shopping for sex toys is one of the Barbados beauty’s favorite pastime endeavors, and she’s been known to haunt sex shops across the globe.
She might have the world’s biggest forehead, but the pretty pop princess obviously knows what she likes.
And sometimes she takes a companion along with her when she’s buying her goodies. According to the NE, Drake has been spotted with Rihanna at least once, in his native Canada, on one of her spontaneous sprees. Her purchase then? Her usual hardcore fare, plus a Spandex hood; a riding crop/whip; sexy boots; and edible underwear. Oh, and a big ole chocolate penis dildo.
Its kinda odd that Drake would tag along for the extensive buy…I wonder if this was a his/her purchase?

New Video…Rihanna – We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris)
Here it is, Rihanna’s new video to her hit track, “We Found Love”. You might remember this video was hyped up because, during the shoot, Rihanna decided to let her jugs get a bare feel of the brisk Irish air. But the farmer who’s land was the scene of the essentially soft-porn photo shoot wasn’t having that at all on his land, and demanded what he assumed to be a crazy, singing Black chick (he’d never heard of Rihanna) to put her top back on immediately.
And the light skinned dude in the video, British boxer and model Dudley O’Shaughnessy, was said to be romancing Rihanna but days after that story broke, he kinda suggested he wasn’t even interested.
Lots of publicity for this video so let’s hope its good.

Rihanna Gets Nude For ‘Esquire’; Calls Chris Brown “Incredible”
Pop singer Rihanna bares a part of her soul–and most of her body–in the November “Sexiest Women Alive” issue of ‘Esquire Magazine’. She gets into some interesting topics but her words on former flame Chis Brown is getting the most attention:
“It’s incredible to see how he pulled out of it the way he did. Even when the world seemed like it was against him, you know? I really like the music he’s putting out. I’m a fan of his stuff. I’ve always been a fan. Obviously, I had some resentment toward him for a while, for obvious reasons. But I’ve put that behind me. It was taking up too much of my time. It was too much anger. I’m really excited to see the breakthrough he’s had in his career. I would never wish anything horrible for him. Never. I never have.”
A lot of people think Rihanna has yet to get over the man who famously battered her before that awards show three years ago. This interview doesn’t exactly put that notion to rest.

Rihanna Sheds Top; Irish Farmer Not Having It
Remember when Rihanna was playing the good girl role, and sang G-rated songs like “Umbrella”? It seems so long ago but it was more like the year before last. These days, Rihanna has shed that girl next door image and instead grasped the girl at the local strip club image.
And when Rihanna shoots a video, clothes might comes off.
And that’s what happened yesterday on the beautiful Irish homeland, where video was shooting the video for her new single, “We Found Love.” During a wardrobe change, Rihanna let her bare jugs get a feel of the brisk Irish air.
And that was too much for one stunned Irish farmer, who wasn’t having any nudity on his farmland.
Northern Ireland farmer Alan Graham says he doesn’t know who Rihanna is but she must keep her top on while performing on his land.
Graham says he enforced a dress code as he watched Rihanna shoot a video Monday in his wheat field east of Belfast for her new single, “We Found Love.” She’s in Northern Ireland this week to perform three concerts.
The 23-year-old switched from a flannel checked shirt into a stars-and-stripes bikini, a red bra, a mesh black top, and finally went topless before Graham climbed off his tractor to protest.
Graham says “I had a conversation with Rihanna. I hope she understands where I’m coming from. We shook hands.”–(MSNBC)
